Sherman Galleries is the only commercial art gallery in Australia to mount major museum touring exhibitions of important contemporary Australian art internationally and particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. It is also one of just a few Australian galleries to tour major exhibitions of Australian and international art regionally and nationally. Sherman Galleries periodically initiates, curates and organises both national and international touring exhibitions with a view to advancing the awareness of the work of Australian contemporary artists. Recent touring exhibitions and artfairs include:
The Rose Crossing (1999 - 2000) an exhibition of 13 artists from European and Asian backgrounds spanning three generations.
Systems End (1996 - 1997) toured 12 major mid-career and young Australian artists through major state and regional institutions in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
